A lounge chair from the past
Born in the 18th century, at the time when seats gained importance by integrating the "baroque" style, an ostentatious style fashion, a concept coming from Rome (Italy), which means a "rare pearl", this compromise between sofa and bench was previously used by the Greeks and then the Romans.
Among the models of Rococo furniture, there is the chaise longue, the armchair, the sofa, the loveseat, the couch... Some of them are decorated with cherubs to inspire a Gothic and Baroco decor, while largely keeping the aspects natural decorative features of the furniture itself.
The back and seat are covered in a very beautiful fabric with black and white stripes, stretched perfectly to the structure with upholstery nails. As for assembly, it is carried out using old methods using dowels, tenons and mortises.
This seat is equipped with a single backrest and is designed in a feminine style to make you feel comfortable. For added comfort, the seat and back are padded with foam.
