The 1930 style Art Deco Console is a very popular type of furnishing for the home, especially for art and decoration enthusiasts. Considered by many to be the pinnacle of ornamental design for this period, the console furniture range was inspired by the richly colored art style of architecture that was to be popular in fashionable cities around the world.
A very important feature of the Art Deco style of furniture was its use of large, bold cutouts which were commonly seen on the walls and floors of modernist homes. The cutouts were usually geometric shaped but depending on the particular style there would be a selection of shapes like rectangles, ovals and circular ones to name a few. As you would imagine with such an amount of detail, these types of console furniture have become very popular, although they are very expensive for the original models, even overpriced, buying a reproduction is a great alternative for your decoration
