Empire desk with elm burl
Office with a large Empire style work surface with two extensions on each side.
Empire desk with a large work surface, with two extensions on each side. The frame is beech with a traditional assembly by tenons and mortises.
The ornaments are in gilded bronze.
The desk opens with three drawers assembled by dovetails with gilt metal handles, the central drawer closes with a lock.
The varnish has been affixed by hand as on antique furniture.
