The Louis XV cylinder desk opens with a clever system, opening its drawer the cylinder unfolds and reveals its writing tablet.
The secretary's frame is rosewood, the marquetry décor is rosewood, blond mahogany and amaranth.
The varnish was applied as it used to be by hand.
The desk opens with six small interior drawers, three on top and a central drawer where the tablet is written, the drawers are assembled by dovetails.
The trims are gilded bronze.
