A chaise longue from the past
Born in the eighteenth century, when the seats became important by integrating the style "Baroque" style of ostentatious style, a concept from Rome (Italy), which means a "rare pearl", this compromise between sofa and bench was used previously by the Greek and then the Romans.
Rococo models include chaise longue, armchair, sofa, loveseat, couch ... Some of them are decorated with cherubs to inspire a Gothic and baroco decor, while keeping largely the aspects decorative natural furniture in itself.
The back and the seat are covered with a beautiful fabric with black and white stripes, perfectly stretched to the structure with nails of upholsterer. As for the assembly, it is realized according to old methods by pegs, tenons and mortises.
This seat is equipped with a single backrest and is developed in a feminine style to put you at ease. For extra comfort, the seat and backrest are padded with foam.
