The origin of the Baroque style

Inspiring many current designers, the Baroque style is an artistic movement appeared in Italy, first in Rome, then in Mantua, Venice and Florence towards the middle of the XVITh century before it spreads rapidly throughout Europe. He touched a lot of areas including art, architecture, painting, literature, music and also furnishing. But it ended in the middle of the XVIIITh century.

Features of the Baroque style

The word "Baroque" derives from the Portuguese "Barroco" and the Spanish "berrueco", which means "rare Pearl" or "irregular contours". It is very adopted, between the XVITh and XVIITh centuries, the time of the Renaissance and classicism. In real estate, the Baroque style is very common. At that time, several artists inspired the style to create decorative objects that were both luxurious and ostentatious with multiple irregularities.
